Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Petersfield
Officers were called to the A3 northbound at Buriton following reports of a collision involving a Range Rover and a pedestrian at 5.26pm on Friday, March 25.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services the pedestrian, a 63-year-old man, died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Inspector Gavin Biggs, said: “We are currently carrying out our investigation to establish exactly what happened.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.
“Were you in the area at the time? Did you see the pedestrian or Range Rover in the run up to the collision or maybe you have dash-cam footage?”
