A 27-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling with intent to steal.
The arrest follows a report of burglary at a property on Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst shortly before 1.30am today (Monday 9 September).
The man remains in police custody at this time.
