Officers investigating a robbery at the Co-Op on Fawcett Road in Southsea have charged a 17-year-old boy

The boy, from Southsea, has been charged with one count of robbery.
This comes after police were called on Saturday 8 January to a report that a member of the public had gone behind the till, assaulted a staff member and taken a number of packets of cigarettes.
He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Thursday 31 March.
A 19-year-old woman from Havant who was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection with this incident has been released with no further action being taken against her.
