Police have made two arrests following a report in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 24 May) that two people were attempting to gain access to cars on St Chads Avenue in Copnor
Police received the report at 12.52am and officers attended the location a short time later, locating and arresting two people nearby.
A 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference.
A 16-year-old boy from Portsmouth was also arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference as well as possession of a bladed article.
They have since been released from police custody but remain under investigation while enquiries continue.
