Police have today 11 January released CCTV of four people that they would like to speak to in connection with a theft from Hamble Quay Ferry pontoon in late December last year.
It comes after a vessel was taken without consent at around 11.10pm on Wednesday 22 December, but was later recovered nearby at the Royal Southern Yacht Club.
Officers have conducted initial enquires and earlier CCTV images show four men jumping a gate at the side of the Yacht Club and can be seen on the pontoon at about 11.25pm that same evening.
Police appreciate that the CCTV is not the clearest, but perhaps you recognise the people in the footage? Did you see anyone acting suspiciously at the time either around Hamble Quay or the Royal Southern Yacht Club?
Anyone with information relating to this incident, or similar incidents in the Hamble Quay area in recent months, is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number 44210512177.
