Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was seriously injured in a collision in Ampfield on Saturday.
The collision happened between 4.30pm and 4.40pm on 14 August on Ampfield Hill.
A white transit van was in collision with the dog before driving off without stopping. The puppy received serious injuries, but is in a stable condition and making a good recovery.
The incident is not currently believed to have been targeted.
Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have dash-cam or CCTV footage, or saw a white van in the area at that time?
Police would also be keen to hear from the driver of the van, or anyone who knows who that might be.
