Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a suspicious incident at Hartland Country Park in between Fleet and Farnborough.
Officers were called to a report that a woman was approached by a man in the woodland area opposite Hartland Country Park car park, Bramshot Lane, between 5pm-6pm on Friday 27 September.
It was reported that the man was in possession of a knife.The woman was able to run away from the scene. She was not assaulted and no injuries have been reported.
The man has been described as white, in his late 30s, 6ft tall and of medium build.He had short dark brown hair and stubble and was wearing a grey hoodie, light jeans and wellies.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
Police Sergeant Lee Bishop, from the Farnborough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:
“We are looking for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward with any information, no matter how small they think it to be.
“Did you see anyone in the area matching the description, did you see any suspicious behaviour or did you see any vehicles you think might be linked?
