Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a burglary in Farnborough.
Officers were called to a report that an address on Ribble Place had been accessed by two unknown men at 8.47pm on Monday 7 October.
An untidy search was carried out and cash and jewellery was stolen.The men were disturbed inside the property and one fled the scene.
The other attempted to leave and assaulted a man inside the address.It was then reported that a scuffle took place outside the address and that the man who had been assaulted was stabbed in the arm.
He suffered minor injuries to his arm.Since this was reported to police, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are now appealing for witnesses.
