Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, after a man was assaulted in Havant on Friday morning (18 March)
It comes after a man was walking his dog along a path adjacent to the green of Havant Park towards the cricket pavilion, when an electric bike rode past him at speed.
A verbal confrontation ensued between the man and the rider of the electric bike, resulting in the man being assaulted after being pushed in the chest to the ground. He received minor injuries as a result.
The rider of the bike then fled the scene across the green before heading towards the Meridian Centre. He was described as wearing all black with a black hooded top and a balaclava. The electric bike was also black.
Police have carried out initial enquiries to identify the man responsible for the assault, but are now turning for the public for assistance.
