Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Gosport.
It’s reported that at around 4.55am on Saturday 20 November, a woman in her 50s was walking along the A32 Fareham Road, in the direction of Brockhurst Gate, when she was grabbed on the arm by a man she did not know.
Whilst holding her arm, the man made an inappropriate remark, before she fought back and ran away.
The man, who had come from a wooded area near to Fort Brockhurst, was described as: White 5ft 9ins tall Skinny Wearing a black hoodie and a black beanie hat Officers are investigating this incident.
As part of the police enquiry, they would like to hear from anyone who has information that can assist their investigation, and has seen the person in question in the area, or has witnessed this type of behaviour in the area.
