Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place at Dowd’s Farm Park, off Wellstead Way, Hedge End.
It was reported to police that some time between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 7 July, an altercation took place involving a group of people.
During this incident, a woman in her 20s suffered a broken sternum and a spinal fracture.
As part of police enquiries, a 24-year-old man from Bursledon and a 23-year-old woman from Botley were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They have been bailed until 5 August while enquiries continue.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or the events leading up to it. Officers believe other people were in the park at the time, including a group of young people and someone with a small dog.
