🚨 Man charged following Romsey town centre robbery investigation
A man has been charged following an investigation into a series of robberies at commercial premises in Romsey town centre.
Clive Inch, 41, of Newcombe Road, Southampton, has been charged with:
▪️ Three counts of robbery
▪️ One count of threats to kill
▪️ One count of possession of a bladed article in a public place
He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 23 June).
The charges relate to incidents reported from around 5.20pm on Sunday 21 June, when police were called to a robbery at the Co-op in The Hundred.
Shortly afterwards, further incidents were reported at The Phoenix pub in The Hundred and The Exchange in Market Place.
Officers quickly responded and arrested a man inside The Cocky Anchor pub in Market Place.
