Witness Appeal After Necklace Robbery in Aldershot
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 60s had a gold necklace stolen in Aldershot.
The incident happened at around 9.35am on Sunday 31 May on North Lane.
The victim was approached by a slow-moving silver car carrying several occupants. A woman inside the vehicle reportedly offered the victim £10 before getting out of the car, forcibly removing a gold necklace from her neck, and then returning to the vehicle. The car then drove off towards Aldershot town centre.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen suspicious activity in the area.
Police are particularly interested in:
Witnesses who were in North Lane at the time.
Anyone with dashcam footage.
Residents or businesses with doorbell or CCTV footage.
Anyone who saw a silver vehicle matching the description.
