🚨 Witness appeal after four-year-old girl suffers serious head injury in Fleet park e-scooter collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a four-year-old girl was left with a serious head injury following a collision with an e-scooter rider in Fleet.
The incident happened at around 11.15am on Saturday, 20 June, in Calthorpe Park, when the young girl was struck by an e-scooter being ridden by a boy believed to be aged between 12 and 14.
The rider failed to stop at the scene.
The girl was taken to hospital, where she remains receiving treatment for her serious injuries.
Officers say they are treating the incident extremely seriously and have launched an investigation to establish exactly what happened.
Police are now urging anyone who was in the park at the time, witnessed the collision, or has any mobile phone, CCTV or other footage that could assist enquiries to come forward.
