Appeal After Lorry Fails To Stop Following M27 Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a lorry failed to stop following a collision on the M27.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, 20 May, on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12.
A lorry, a Peugeot 208 and a Mercedes were involved in the collision. No injuries were reported.

The lorry, described as having a white cab and a yellow trailer or body, did not remain at the scene. Police say it is likely to have front offside damage.

Officers are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, captured dash cam footage, or has information about the lorry or driver to contact police.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference 44260237612, or report it online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
