Police are appealing for information after the robbery of a 23-year-old woman in Southampton.
At approximately 8.55pm on Monday 3 January, the victim was walking along Commercial Road towards the train station when two men unknown to her approached her from behind at the junction of Morris Road.
Following a short struggle, the men took her bag, which contained a laptop and her purse which had various ID cards in it, a bank card and around £300 in cash.
The woman was not injured.
Officers have been following a number of lines of enquiry and now have this image to release to the public of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this incident. He is described as white, aged between 20 and 25, of slim build and approximately 6 foot 2 inches in height.
Police appreciate that the image isn’t the best quality, however it’s the best they have available at this time.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may know the man in the image or was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything that may assist their enquiries.
