At 7pm on Saturday 30 October, a man approached two girls on Fratton Road, at the junction with Lucknow Street, and attempted to grab one of them by the arm. He then inappropriately touched her over the top of her clothes.

Police have been following a number of lines of enquiry and are now releasing this image of a man seen in the area at the time to the public.

Police appreciate that the image isn’t very clear, but it’s the best they have available at this time. Police also have the below description of the man, who we would like to speak to in connection with this incident:

Approximately 30-years-old
Spoke with an Irish accent
Average height
Of larger build
Brown hair, gelled back and messy
Wearing a green top and blue jeans

Do you recognise the description or the image? Perhaps you were in the area at the time and saw what took place? Or maybe you were driving past and have dash cam footage?
