Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a car and motorcycle on the A3 yesterday afternoon (September 4).
Police were called around 4pm to the incident, which happened on the southbound carriageway near Griggs Green.
A blue Kawasaki motorcycle and dark blue Honda Jazz had collided, with the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s, suffering serious chest injuries.
Officers investigating the exact circumstances are keen to speak with any witnesses, particularly anyone with dash cam footage.
Police are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a black Volkswagen Golf, believed to be a 2008-plate, who had been driving just ahead of the motorcycle and could have important information.
