Appeal for witnesses after two-car crash in Basingstoke

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving two vehicles in Basingstoke.

The incident happened at around 2pm yesterday (23 May) on Great Binfields Road, and involved a Mercedes Benz E220 and a Skoda Scala.

According to police, the Mercedes had reportedly been driven dangerously prior to the collision.

Both vehicles sustained damage in the crash, while the driver of the Skoda – a woman in her 50s – was taken to hospital for assessment.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have captured either vehicle on dash-cam footage before the collision, to come forward.
