Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Havant
At approximately 4.12pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 26 May) a car collided with a cyclist on the roundabout on Park Road North.
A black car exiting the roundabout onto Park Road North towards Havant town centre collided with the cyclist, a woman in her 30s, who was travelling towards New Road.
The woman sustained minor hip and lower back injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle, which police believe could be a Ford Focus or Fiesta, did not stop at the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was travelling through the area at the time, particularly if you were travelling towards the roundabout on Park Road North.
Did you see the collision or the aftermath?
Do you have dash cam footage that may have captured the vehicle involved either at the time of the collision or immediately afterwards?
The collision caused the road to be blocked so officers believe the vehicle would have stood out as it left the scene with no other vehicles behind it in a very busy area.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting 44220208887. Alternatively, go online and submit information via the following form: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
