Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Southampton on Tuesday, 4 January.
Sometime between 7pm and 7.45pm, a man in his 30’s was standing outside a block of flats in Cuckmere Lane, Southampton, when he was approached by a group of three or four men from behind and assaulted.
The group then threatened the man with a weapon, described as a machete, before stealing his electric bike and making off.
Officers attended and carried out an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate the group.
The victim received a cut to his hand during the incident.
Officers investigating the incident are following a number of lines of enquiry and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
