Appeal to identify man after car set alight in early morning arson
Police are appealing for help to identify a man as part of an investigation into a suspected arson attack in the early hours of Wednesday 29 April.
Officers were called at around 6.50am following reports that a red Toyota Auris had been deliberately set alight in The Bridge Centre car park on New Road.
Firefighters attended the scene and extinguished the blaze, but the vehicle was left with significant damage.
A man was seen in the area at the time of the incident. He is described as white, slim, bald, and aged between 50 and 60. He was wearing a dirty grey hooded top, black trousers and black trainers.
Police have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their enquiries.
