Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a shoplifting incident at Aldi on Chestnut Avenue, Chandler’s Ford.
The incident, involving the theft of a bottle of cognac valued at £19.99, took place between 4:30pm and 4:35pm on Saturday, August 17.
The man, described as tall with short hair, was seen wearing a black tracksuit and blue trainers at the time of the incident. He was accompanied by a woman, described as of medium height with blonde hair, wearing a green “Jamaica” T-shirt and sunglasses.
Police believe the man and woman could assist with the investigation and are urging them or anyone who recognises them to come forward.
Additionally, police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the theft or any suspicious activity in the area.
They are particularly interested in receiving any relevant CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage.
