Wanted: Police Appeal To Locate Ian Willett From Ventnor

Police are appealing for help to locate Ian Willett, who is wanted in connection with a burglary on the Isle of Wight.

The 27-year-old, from Ventnor, is wanted following a reported burglary at an address in West Street, Newport, on Saturday, 16 May.

Officers say enquiries have been ongoing to find Willett, including visits to addresses linked to him and checks with people known to him. They are now asking the public for information that could help locate him.

Willett is described as white, of medium build, around 6ft 2ins tall, with brown wavy hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo of the name “Matty” on the left side of his neck.

He lives in Ventnor but also has links to Freshwater and Newport.

Anyone who sees Willett, or knows where he is, should call 999 immediately, quoting reference 44260231032.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police have also warned that anyone found to be harbouring Willett in an attempt to obstruct officers may be committing an offence and could be arrested.
