Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at around 7.15 am this morning with reports of a 2 vehicle RTC that had occurred at junction 5 southbound sliproad of the A3/M.
Emergency services including Hampshire Roads Policing Unit were called to deal with traffic management and lane closure of the slip road whilst Firefighters and South Central Ambulance Service provided medical treatment to the casualty.
It’s believed that a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the RTC fled the scene prior to emergency services arrival, an investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing along with enquiries into the vehicle that had made off from the collision.
