Officers from Hampshire Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in Portsmouth earlier today after the driver appeared distracted.
The driver then attempted to run from police, however was detained after a short foot chase.
A search of the person was then conducted where they was found to be in possession of drugs.
A further search of the vehicle was conducted where more drugs and cash was discovered.
Officers then conducted a roadside drug wipe, which came back positive for Cocaine.
The driver has since been arrested and is now in police custody.
