Eastleigh Man Charged With Sexual Assault And Sexual Communications With A Child

A 50-year-old man from Eastleigh has been charged following reports that teenage girls were approached in the town.

Peter Sibanda, 50, of Twyford Drive, Eastleigh, has been charged with sexual assault and two counts of engaging in sexual communications with a child.

The charges relate to reported incidents on Wells Place and Factory Road, Eastleigh, on Saturday evening, 5 June.

It is reported that a man approached teenage girls, allegedly inappropriately touching a 16-year-old and making sexual remarks towards a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old.

Sibanda appeared at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday morning, 10 June, where he was remanded in custody.

He is next due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday, 7 July.
