Firefighters called to Portsmouth property with four flats after fire breaks out in living room and smoke alarms alerts residents
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service received the call at around 3.30pm after a fire broke out in the living room of a property in Hewett Road, Portsmouth.
Crews from Cosham and Southsea were in attendance who used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 high pressure jet hose 1 hose reel and level 1 PPV for smoke clearance.
Fortunately there were no casualties due to working fire alarms all occupants managed to flee the property prior to firefighters arriving.
A stop call was placed at 4.18pm
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and a full fire investigation is now underway.
