A major Portsmouth Road has been closed tonight after a serious collision involving a bus

The collision happened at around 6.30pm close to the junction of Ophir Road and London Road, Portsmouth.

Information from a source stated that a pedestrian has been struck by a bus while crossing the road.

The road remains closed in both directions while police carry out a full investigation into the cause of the collision.
