Man Arrested After Drugs Warrants in Fleet and Farnham
A 48-year-old man has been arrested after police carried out drugs warrants at two addresses in Fleet and Farnham.
Officers from the Fleet Neighbourhood Police Team executed warrants on Thursday, 28 May, at an address on Fleet Road, near Elvetham Heath Way in Fleet, and another in Brougham Place, Farnham.
During searches of both properties, officers seized more than £3,000 in cash, cannabis, suspected Class A drugs, and a large suitcase containing imported cigarettes.
A 48-year-old man from Farnham, Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of:
Being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug
Possession of a Class A drug
Conspiring to fraudulently evade duty, prohibition, restriction or provision.
He has since been bailed while further enquiries are carried out.
