Officers investigating reports of an assault at a bar in Eastleigh have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
At around 1am on Sunday 3 October, it is reported that a man become embroiled in an altercation with a staff member at Wagon Works on Southampton Road; resulting in the staff member suffering minor injuries.
The man was subsequently restrained by other staff members until police arrived and detained him.
A 28-year-old man from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of section 18 – wounding with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was later released on conditional bail until Sunday 31 October.
