A man has been charged as part of an investigation into a series of thefts from motor vehicles in Fareham
Police have received a number of reports of vehicles being accessed, or car door handles being tried, across the borough in April and May.
As part of an investigation, 31-year-old Richard Featherstone of no fixed abode has been charged with the following:
Vehicle interference in Watersmeet, Fareham, on 12 AprilVehicle interference in Watersmeet, Fareham, on 29 April2x Vehicle interference in Wild Ridings, Fareham, on 2 MayVehicle interference in Holmefield Avenue, Fareham, on 2 MayVehicle interference in Helsby Close, Fareham, on 2 MayVehicle interference in Mill Road, Fareham, on 2 May
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 5 May).
