A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing which took place in London Road in Southampton at around 10am on Wednesday, 6 July
Officers conducted enquiries and arrested a man following an incident in Parsonage Road, Southampton, on Wednesday evening.
Samuel Woodford, 31, of Delorme Street, Hammersmith, London, was charged with:
-Possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place –
-Grievous bodily harm with intent
-Assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer
-Four counts of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000
He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (8 July) where he was further remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on August 5.
