A 26-year-old man from Ringwood has admitted to a string of shoplifting offences committed in the town over the past month.
Quincy Rufus Digby Hopkins, who has no fixed address, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 18 September, where he pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft.
The shoplifting incidents took place between Thursday 15 August and Tuesday 17 September at various stores across Ringwood.
Hopkins was arrested following investigations into the thefts.The court has remanded Hopkins on conditional bail, with sentencing scheduled for Wednesday 20 November at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
