Man summonsed to court following Gosport robbery attempt

A man is due in court following an investigation into a robbery incident in Gosport

 

Takudzwa Mukono, aged 24, of Vale Grove in Gosport, has been summonsed to court to face the following charges:

 

Attempted robbery – this relates to an incident on the afternoon of 22 January this year in which it’s alleged Mukono grabbed a man in Golden Touch Casino on Gosport High Street and demanded cash.

 

Assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, on Gosport High Street on 22 January this year.

 

He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 29 June.

MISSING: Kellie Ashby, 41, from Ryde Police are appealing for help to find missing Kellie Ashby from Ryde. The 41-year-old was last seen at around 8am this morning, Friday 22 May, in the Ryde area. Officers say they are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who sees Kellie to contact police immediately. Kellie is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, with brown wavy hair and hazel eyes. It is believed she may have her hair tied up and could be wearing jeans. Anyone who sees Kellie, or knows where she may be, should call 999 quoting incident 0973 of Friday 22 May.
