Man Jailed for Over a Year After String of Offences in Waterlooville and Havant 
Two Men Charged Following Southampton Disorder 
Firefighters are tackling a large fire involving multiple hybrid vehicles off West Bay Road in Southampton this morning.
Crews were called to the scene at around 5.50am today, Wednesday 3 June 2026, with a major firefighting response now in attendance.
There are currently 10 fire engines, two water carriers, an aerial ladder platform and several support vehicles at the scene.
Firefighters are using jets, the aerial ladder platform and ground monitors to bring the blaze under control.
Residents living nearby are being advised to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke in the area.
A ground monitor is a heavy-duty, high-flow firefighting device placed on the ground to deliver large volumes of water or foam from a safe distance.
People are urged to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.
