A elderly woman suffered serious injuries in the collision along a busy Portsmouth Road last night
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Northern Road, Portsmouth that happened at around 18.35 on 23rd May 2024 that left an elderly woman hospitalised.
It’s understood that a white Suzuki was travelling north along Northern Road, Cosham when the elderly woman was struck at the pedestrian crossing. Police, Ambulance and Paramedics attended the incident closing the Northbound Carriageway whilst the woman received medical treatment who was later taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward who may assist in their investigation to establish the circumstances around the collision, to call Hampshire and Isle of Wight police on 101 quoting ref.44240216913.
