Police officers are appealing for the publics help to identify two individuals after Winchester burglary

Police are looking to speak with them in connection with a distraction burglary in Winchester.

The incident happened between 10.20am and 10.50am on Thursday 5 November at an address on St. Johns North.

The victim reported being at home when an unknown woman knocked on her door asking for help looking for her cat. Whilst the victim was helping, another person has entered her property and a quantity of jewellery was stolen.

Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for help in identifying those pictured as part of their enquiries.

They are described as:

A white woman, aged between 25 and 35-years-old, around 5ft 3ins tall with a slim build, with dark hair that was tied back. She was wearing dark clothing and had an Eastern European accent.
A white man, aged between 25 and 35-years-old, with an average build and dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing.
