Three men have been arrested following a robbery in Farnborough.
Police were called at 1.54pm yesterday (18 September) to a report that a container full of cigarettes was stolen from Tesco Express on Chapel Lane.
A staff member suffered a minor injury to her arm as a result of the incident. A group of men then fled the scene in a Renault Grand Scenic.
Officers were deployed to the area and located the vehicle on Bridge Road, Farnborough, at around 10pm.They then searched an address on Cottage Gardens and arrested three men shortly after midnight.
Two officers were assaulted during the arrest of one of the men.
A 31-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
A 22-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of robbery, two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker and possessing a controlled drug of Class B.
An 18-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possessing a controlled drug of Class B.
They remain in custody while enquiries continue.
