Two Men Arrested Following Dawn Police Raid in Bishopstoke
Two men have been arrested after officers carried out an early morning drugs warrant at a property in Bishopstoke.
Eastleigh’s Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET) executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address on Underwood Road on Wednesday morning (3 June).
Police forced entry to the property and, during a search, seized a number of items including suspected Class A drugs.
A 40-year-old man from Bishopstoke was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.
A second man, aged 56 and from Fair Oak, was arrested on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
The burglary arrest relates to a reported break-in at business premises on Spring Lane, Colden Common, during the early hours of Friday 20 February.
The 40-year-old Bishopstoke man has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police investigations remain ongoing.
