Officers investigating a robbery at TH Baker jewellers on the High Street in Alton on Tuesday, 8 February have charged two men
Lee Benneyworth, aged 39, of Leominster Road in Portsmouth has been charged with the following offences:
- Robbery
- Common assault of an emergency worker
- Common assault of an emergency worker
- Racially / Religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress
- Criminal damage
Jamie Massiah, aged 40, of no fixed abode has been charged with robbery.
Both men appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court this morning (10 February) and were remanded to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, 16 March.
