Police have now reopened the A27 between Fareham and Titchfield following a serious RTC
Hamsphire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called at 8.50pm to a 2 vehicle RTC with reports of persons trapped.
On arrival firefighters from Fareham used specialist cutting equipment to free a casualty from one of the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and a critical care team (HART) worked alongside firefighters to free the injured casualty.
The casualty was later taken to Hospital where is their injuries are not suspected to be life threatening.
Recovery agents worked to clear the road and police reopened the road shortly after 11.10pm.
