Witness appeal following attempted robberies in Farnborough

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of two attempted robberies in Farnborough

At around 4.30pm on Wednesday 17 August, a man approached a group of young people in the Pinehurst Car Park and attempted to steal AirPods from one of the boys.

Just 30 minutes later, a man approached a teenage boy near Kingsmead Bus Stop in the town centre and demanded his AirPods.

Nothing was reported stolen during both incidents.

Officers believe it could be the same man involved in both incidents.

He has been described as a man aged between 19 and 20, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft 1ins tall and of skinny build.

He was wearing dark clothing, a balaclava, black trousers, black coat and black Air Force 1 trainers. He was seen carrying a large clear umbrella.

Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
