Witness appeal following sexual assault in Church Crookham

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a sexual assault in Church Crookham

 

Between 1pm and 3pm on Thursday 3 February, a teenager was approached by a group of four young men on a pathway between Nepal Gardens and Naishes Lane.

 

The victim was sexually assaulted before the group was disturbed by a family walking towards them.

 

A woman helped the victim and spent five minutes with them before taking them to a safe spot. 

 

The group of young men are described as being aged between 19 and 20 and between 5ft 11in and 6ft 1in tall.

 

They were all wearing light jeans, white shoes and dark hoodies.

 

Although the incident happened more than three weeks ago, it was only reported to us on Friday 25 February.

 

Officers have launched an investigation and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

 

Officers are also keen to speak with the woman who spent time with the victim after the incident.
