Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Ryde yesterday in which a motorcyclist suffered a serious injury
Officers attended a collision in High Park Road, Ryde, which happened around 3.30pm yesterday (March 7).
It was reported a Volkswagen Golf and Yamaha YZF R1 motorcycle had collided.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and was taken to hospital.
Prior to police arriving, the driver of the car was reported to have left the scene.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, has been identified and enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
