Woman in Her 80s Dies Following Fatal Collision on A31 Near Froyle

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision on the A31 Farnham Road near Froyle.

Officers were called at 4.28pm yesterday, Monday 25 May, to reports of a collision on the southbound carriageway involving a silver Volkswagen Golf and a grey Skoda Roomster.

A passenger in the Skoda, a woman in her 80s, suffered serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family have been informed.

A 40-year-old man from Haslemere and a 24-year-old woman from Winchester have both been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They remain in police custody.

Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.
