Three Arrested After Suspected Class A Drugs Found At Basingstoke Property

Three people have been arrested after officers discovered suspected Class A drugs at a property in Basingstoke.

Police attended an address on Shelley Close in Popley at around 12.15pm on Wednesday 10 June following reports of safety concerns and suspected drug-related activity at the property.

Officers acted quickly after receiving information and located around 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, which had been hidden in the garden.

A 44-year-old man from Reading, a 24-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 22-year-old woman from London were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

All three have since been bailed with conditions while further enquiries are carried out.
