Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Havant on Wednesday morning (13 July)
At approximately 8am, an altercation between two people known to each other started at an address on Botley Drive and ended outside in the street.
A 21-year-old man was assaulted, resulting in an injury to his nose. He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Police attended and arrested a 25-year-old man from Havant on suspicion of Section 18 Grievous Bodily Harm with intent. He has been released on conditional police bail while enquiries into this incident continue.
Investigating officers believe there is likely to have been a number of people in the area at the time, and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
