Police officers have called off the search for a missing male after a body was discovered along the Eastern Road, Portsmouth
Following our previous appeal to help police locate missing 63-year-old Acoong Lau, it’s understood that sadly on Monday 24 January that police had found a body.
Police believe it to be the missing 63-year-old male after an extensive search was carried out along the Eastern Road.
It’s understood officers found the body close to the junction of Hayling Avenue.
A spokesman for Hampshire police said: ‘Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Mr Lau’s next of kin have been informed.
‘The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’
