CCTV images released in Portchester shoplifting investigation

Police are appealing for help to identify a man and woman following a reported shoplifting at the BP garage on West Street, Portchester.

The incident happened between 5.10pm and 5.15pm on Thursday 14 May, when it is reported that £250 worth of food and alcohol was stolen.

The man officers would like to speak to is described as:

White

Aged in his 40s

Approximately 5ft 5ins tall

Wearing a cap and glasses

The woman is described as:

White

Aged in her 40s

Approximately 5ft 5ins tall

Long dark hair

Wearing black clothing and sunglasses

Police believe the pair pictured in the CCTV images may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises them, or has information about the incident, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 44260227520. Information can also be reported online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
